The Movie: False Architecture

You see a door, no escape

An invisible entity paralyzes young Max’s voice and legs, forcing him toward a glowing green light beneath his kitchen refrigerator. Though he fights with all his upper-body strength, he cannot scream or pull away as he is dragged into an infinite maze of millions of liminal levels. Max spends weeks traversing these architectural nightmares while the invisible creature stalks his every move. He finally reaches the final level: a terrifyingly exact duplicate of his own house. The monster attacks, violently choking Max on the bedroom floor. Desperate, Max grabs his heavy metal tripod and tripod light, brutally smacking the creature until a spray of blood outlines its horrifying shape. Escaping through the front door, Max collapses onto his actual kitchen floor and is reunited with Max’s Mom. As she hugs him, Max looks over her shoulder. The green light is still burning under the fridge. He didn't escape; the woman he is holding is just a duplicate of the shape-shifting entity.
